I attach photo of letter from endocrinologist. Moved from Worthing to Dorset where prescribed originally liothyronine in 2012. Do very well on it. Fuming Worthing hospital has sent this letter to my surgery. I am seeing new endocrinologist at Poole hospital next week. He will see this letter. Any advice what I can say. I did let Worthing hospital know I had moved and would not attend.

Whoever wrote this letter should be given a right telling off! He/she is wrong that there is plenty of evidence that T3 is safe - after all, your body would naturally produce it! The old "bad for bones and heart" has been well and truly debunked. If your thyroid levels are wrong, you are in much more danger with your bones and heart than if you take T3! This person is not keeping up to date with the current data, I can also bet that they did not know how to read the results if you are taking T3, as this would give a low TSH which always sends them into a panic.
There was a reason you were put on T3, and I bet that reason still exists. He/she is ignoring your past medical history and showing their ignorance all in a few words.
There is quite a bit on this site about others being told they no longer can have T3, so have a look and see what was recommended. A doctor cannot change your medication or dosage without your agreement. His/her ignorance has the ability to make you ill, and that makes me furious!
Sending a hug and hope the appointment in Poole is with someone who knows and understands the thyroid!

I have removed the image you attached because it included your name.
I suggest you cover that up somehow (black marker pen is a favourite if the letter itself is not important). Then add it back.
I'm just hoping that you informed them you were moving by email or something that you can use to backup that you did so. However, there's no certainty the new person will see it, and even if they do, you can explain.
