'The most important thing is to eat a diet that provides you with all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs, for example fruits and vegetables. Your immune system constantly makes many billions of new cells and they need feeding.'

These articles always neglect the fact we all need the right amount of the right thyroid hormones too!

I read it when it came out, very good article and shows all the hype about boosting immune system is rubbish.

shaws,

Oh, this book is on my wish list, and not on audible with those lovely bright pics.

Your article is a very informative & simplified explanation into how essential a balanced immune system must be to work best, and exactly why we strive to reduce elevated thyroid antibodies that both cause and are caused by an imbalance where elevated WBC attack own self.

Thank you for posting.

There's criticism that the Kindle version is just small images of the pages - and is rubbish.

Try secondhand - there are quite a few copies available in new/nearly new condition.

Prices of second hand copies on the big river are little different to the brand new hardback at the moment. Maybe they'll come down in time.

Not having read the book myself, I can't comment on the written content. But the cover and images are so eye catching and have definitely been designed to 'sell' the book! Would look amazing on the coffee table, now that we're actually allowed to have people round for coffee! 🤣😎

RA,

And it might make us look as if we know what we're talking about! 🤣

I'm sure we all know what we're talking about - its just others who don't have a dysfunctional thyroid gland who wonder what we're talking about especially GPs.

👍
