Hi, I am from the USA and taking Armour presently, I simply cannot take synthetics. Armour has helped but the attacks on my body is diabeling sometimes. Has anyone found a way to heal the thyroid to help lessen the painful stimulating hormone invasion.

Freetob you've got a little bit mixed up. TSH doesn't attack anything. TSH is the hormone message that the pituitary sends out to stimulate the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones. With autoimmune thyroid conditions the body's autoimmune system attacks and damages the thyroid.

Hashi's doesn't attack the body, only the thyroid gland. What you are probably suffering from are the symptoms of low thyroid hormone, which can be anywhere in the body.

So, that leads to the question: are you optimally medicated? To have any idea about that, we'd have to see your latest blood test results. How much Armour are you taking?

I'm afraid there is no cure for Hashi's, it just continues until the thyroid is completely destroyed. And the thyroid cannot regenerate or be healed. That is why we have to take thyroid hormone replacement: levo/T3/NDT. But, unless we take enough, we cannot feel well. So, that's the first thing to do: make sure our dose is optimal. :)
