Pentasa and Hashi

Been taking Pentasa since August and have had resurgance of my Thyroid problems. Gastroman says no link! Any other Hashi sufferers had difficulties?

For anyone to offer help you should explain to readers what Pentasa is and what you are using it for. And also, I've never heard of Gastroman.

So sorry my post was actually aimed at fellow sufferers who actually recognised the Name Pentasa. An d sorry again Gastroman is my pet name for the gastroenterologist who has been helping me for the last 25 years - the clue being inthe prefix Gastro.

I've taken Asacol (which is the same as Pentasa) for 24 years and it's not caused any problems with my thyroid treatment but we are all different so it may not suit you.Ask to try a different brand as some are better than others.

Thank you I will. Over the last 4 months the situation is getting worse every month - v annoying as my Hashi seemed to have stabilised finally after 2 difficult years adjusting to new medication. Now I'm back to poor sleep patterns, nightmares, depression and brain fog!
