It seems to me that hashi comes with lots of other issues

1 hiatus hernia

2 spider Nevis

3 other auto immune issues

4 also Turkey neck

Hi bossbird, I agree, I have a Full house on all those things! Wonderful isn't it? MariLiz

yes but no ones seems to link them, I pointed out to my endo that there seems to be links especially hiatus hernia as your body slows so food stays in your system effectively blocking up so it makes sense that the stomach would be stressed leading to a hernia? I had so many operations caused by pain and the dr pointed out a compacted bowel at one point but no one checked my thyroid and this was private cant believe how useless dr are we have to do all the research ourselves and the evidence is on google

I visited my GP last week, hoping to have more of a discussion about all the symptoms I have, which can be thyroid, B12 deficiency, or fibromyalgia related. He was running late with his appointments, I had a hacking cough, and guess what? I came home with a prescription for antibiotics ( chest infection)! No discussion, just the promise of more blood tests once I was better! Sometimes it's just like banging your head on a brick wall. Apparently, I was only worrying about all this because I felt ill!!! I agree totally, if only we could get one who actually understands some of the issues we are all dealing with everyday! MariLiz x

Are you sure these things are specifically Hashi's, and not just caused by being hypo? (Except number 3, of course, but then you can have several auto-immune diseases without having Hashi's.)

Why would it be good to have an endo on here? So that they can tell us that it's all in our heads and to go and see a psy? Get enough of that elsewhere, without getting it on here. Here is where we're safe from endos!

Or do you think that if they read all our complaints about them they'll somehow change their attitudes? I have my doubts about that! lol

hi greygoose in my experiance yes as I know hashi sufferers family inc my daughter in law has thyroid problems not hashi and is fine with T4 again family hsitory but none of the above so it seems the auto immune thyroid conditions bring with them other nasties

I did a gallbladder cleanser that seem to really help but I'm still working my butt off getting the 50 lbs off

Dicky gallbladder is most certainly hypo, not just Hashi's.

And I have Hasi's but I most certainly do not have a turkey neck!!! I have often been complimented on my neck and at 70 it's still pretty good.

Nor do I have hiatus hernia. On the other hand, my ex does, but he doesn't have any thyroid problems at all. So...

Anyway, the reason I didn't see your reply before is that you didn't click on the 'reply' button, so I didn't get any notification. I Wonder if you still believe what you've stated above.
