Ultransound results gone to ENT

I had an unexpected telephone call today from the hospital, they made me an appointment to see the ENT doctor regarding my thyroid ultrasound scan on Friday. This is interesting the scan was requested by the Endocrinologist.

Will bring you up to date of my ultrasound results.

I was once told by a nurse that ENT look at issues from a surgical view point & don’t do blood tests.

Once its not surgical they will likely discharge you. After my scan I saw a surgeon who did a nasal endoscopy & commented it wasn’t too squashed in there. As endocrinology had suggested RAI he said best to go with their recommendation but if I wanted he’d operate and remove the left side of thyroid, where my nodule is.

Endocrinology looks at the blood results.

Thank you PurpleNailsThe ultrasound scan was specifically for my thyroid although the scan checks the whole neck

I will know once i have seen the ENT doctor on Friday
