I have turned off replying on your other image posts.

Spreading the results, and then replies, across three posts just causes confusion for everyone.

You can post one image, then reply to that post yourself and add an image to that reply. And again. That way, all images would be on one thread.

Looking at your previous post, you didn't come back with reference ranges as requested so that your results could be accurately interpreted.

These private results again are showing euthyroid (normal). A normal healthy person would generally have TSH less than 2, often around 1, with FT4 around mid-range-ish. So your TSH meets that criteria although your FT4 is a little low at 36% through range.

Your TPO antibodies, although within range at 29.8 (<34) is, in my opinion, too high to ignore. You wont get a diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease (aka Hashimoto's) with that level, but as antibody levels fluctuate you may find with another test they could be elevated, they could of course be lower.

To get a diagnosis of Hashi's you would need over range TSH at the same time as elevated antibodies.

Did you also test Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin as suggested? These are often low or deficient when Hashi's is present.

My last test was only tsh and t4 Tsh was 0.86 and t4 was 14.7 my doctor said they were normal

Yes I did wonder what the antibodies indicate would this mean I'm positive for antibodies?

Yeah I'm going to ask for those to be tested as my vit d ,B12 , folate has been dropping in the last year

Those are your test results, not the reference ranges. You can see reference ranges in the image you've posted above, it's the green bar (both light and dark green), eg the reference range for FT3 is 3.1-6.8.

With your original results where T4 was 14.7, we have no idea where in range that is. If the range was, say 12-22, then you'd be rather low in range, but if the range was 7-17 then you'd be quite high in range. So we need the range to interpret your result properly.

Yes I did wonder what the antibodies indicate would this mean I'm positive for antibodies?

No, as I said your antibodies are within range as they are less than 34, you can see from the green bar that the range is 0-34. So a result less than 34 is negative, a result over 34 is positive. But as I said, your result is fairly close to the top of the range that they're a bit suspicious and may, when tested another time, be over range because antibodies fluctuate, they could of course be lower at any time too.

Was that range for this test:

t4 was 14.7 my doctor said they were normal

which I assume was a GP test not a private one?

Yes it was and it was the GP

So it's quite low, only 27% through range. But still in range which is why it's classed as normal.

I'm getting my b12 checked tomorrow and another test for antibodies as I told the GP about recent results I'm hoping to get some answers
