On a second period this month and my anxiety is through the roof and palpations.

I did get my b12 injection yesterday and and it was 6 weeks late so maybe it’s because am flooded with b12 now.

Any advice please xx

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking

When were thyroid levels and vitamin D, folate and ferritin levels last tested

ALWAYS Test thyroid levels as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

I am on 100 but my last test was a few months ago and levels were ok. I have pernicious anemia too. Which isn’t pleasant

So presumably you have Hashimoto’s

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 tested.

plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies ….if not been tested before

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin at least annually

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially with autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto’s or Ord’s thyroiditis)

Low vitamin levels common as we get older too

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

Depending on your age it is also possible that weird periods are related to peri-menopause. So it could be thyroid related or it might not. Worth considering.
