Please could you help me to understand my latest blood test results?
I have been taking 30 ERFA for 6 weeks, alongside reducing my Levothyroxine and feel so much better.
I’m due to see Endocrinologist next week but have just got these test results and can’t wait to understand what they mean! I know you clever people will understand them.
Thanks in advance xx

Well I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better and the most obvious reason for that is the rise in your T3 levels from 3.63 to 4,76 and the decrease in your TSH from 3.27 to 0.34.
You have raised antibodies and presume you have Hashimoto's and you can read further on this AI disease on the Thyroid UK website.
Many forum members follow the research and work of Dr Izabella Wentz with regard to healing the gut to maximise conversion of thyroid hormone replacement and look at certain food intolerances such as gluten, dairy, wheat etc and it is also suggested that you get checked out for celiac disease.
I don't know if you are still taking T4 alongside this small dose of NDT so am not able to advise on your next dose increment and no doubt your endo has " a plan " to continue your improvement.
There is still a question to ask with regard to your very high ferritin - it has been well over range on both these blood tests ?
Your inflammation ( CRP ) - has jumped from 1.9 to 4.49 in these past 6 weeks and this might be because of the ferritin level, or because of your raised antibodies, or maybe there is something else going on that we don't know about.
Folate needs to higher at around 20 and I'd aim for around 100 on your vitamin D.
Thanks so much for that information. I’m still taking Levothyroxine and instead of taking 75 per day, I’m currently taking just 50 or 25 on alternate days with ERFA at night. I do feel a lot better but not sure if I should aim to get better than this? I’ve felt so rough for years.😙I don’t know about my high Ferritin levels? What could that mean?
Hashimoto´s is treated the same way as other forms of hypothyroidism (by taking replacement hormone). The test is usually ordered just to confirm autoimmune thyroiditis which is the most common cause of low thyroid function. I interpret your results to be negative for Hashimoto´s, but once you are hypothyroid the reason doesn´t matter much as you will still need replacement hormone.
Your post caught my eye. I'm on 75 mcg of Synthroid currently and possibly thinking of trying Erfa. Do you only take one dose of 30mg or two doses of 30 mg?
I was in fact wondering how to interpret those results...are the TPO levels really 67000 or 67,7? They are not flagged as abnormal so I think the anti-TPO levels are 67.7 and the anti-Tg levels are 11.9 so negative.
