How long to wait to test after having COVID?

What are people's thoughts about testing whilst recovering from COVID?

I am 7 weeks into a dose change ( change to levo dose introduction of lio) and I'm due to test. I test via medichecks under private consultant guidance.

But I'm day 15 post COVID infection. I think I'm recovered from the infection now but have fatigue, weakness and brainfog.

It seems pointless to test whilst I feel so rubbish. I had started to really felt the benefits of the lio and change to levo on my hypo symptoms before I caught COVID from my little boy.

I think Covid is going to mess with thyroid results so if it was me I'd not be retesting until I felt well. Basing a dose change on what could be incorrect results wont be helpful at all.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. I'll hold for for a few weeks. I really hope I shake the COVID after effects. Although I do realise the infection could have sent my thyroid hormones out of whack.

It's never ending!
