After going severely hypo for a long period of time, at one point my TSH was 66, due to faulty medication compounded by a compounding pharmacy, my left leg and ankle swell and hurt so bad I can barely walk. Does anyone have a suggestion why?

I am not medically qualified but also had undiagnosed hypothyroidism and had to diagnose myself when TSH was 100.
Thanks to Thyroiduk.org.uk they helped me to recover my health. I shall give you a link - just in case you wish to join. The more members TUK have, the stronger our voices.

The following is recommended in order for us to get accurate blood tests:-
Always make your appointment for the very earliest blood draw (even if you have to make it weeks ahead - it is a fasting test but you can drink water.
Also allow a gap of 24 hours between your last dose of levo (or other thyroid hormones) and the blood test and take it afterwards.
Request GP (if he hasn't already done these) to test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.-
Always get a print-out of your results for your own records and post for comments if you wish.
