I have battled with my dose since 2016, when all of a sudden after 11 years of being ok, I went into a deep dark anxious depression, my results showed a over range FT4 and a Tsh of 8!!

I came on here trying to find answers...

Everyone suggested I had a conversion problem, and told me to take vitamins... so 3 year ago I managed to get my NHS endo to prescribe T3! I thought this would be the answer to all my problems! And I would get better!...

However 3 years on I'm still battling...

Don't get me wrong I have hit my sweet spot quite a few times and felt so great and happy, but then down I go again...

I seem to be good when my ft4 is at the top of the range and ft3 around 5 and the just below 1...

But it's so hard to maintain this level and I just don't know why!??...

All my vitamin levels are better than they have ever been, and I supplements every single day with high doses...

My periods each month seem to knock me back massively but doctor said my female hormones are OK.....

My cortisol came back lowish in the morning and high throughout the day then drops as normal on an evening... so think this could affect me...

I think due to my cortisol I have to take my T3 in tiny doses throughout the day, I take a 5mcg split into 4 throughout the day.. 100mcg levo is taken in the morning on an empty stomach an hour before food...

Any tiny weeny increase affects me and my levels...

My life is great at the minute and there is no reason I should be feeling low and anxious...

I don't really suffer physically, although when my levels are off I can get a bit tired which then causes detachment feeling (derealisation) which is the worst symptom for me!

The depression is awful....

These results are 6 weeks apart no change in dose, top one 6 weeks ago, bottom one was tested the other day...

Antibodies slightly elevated so I presume I have hashimotos...

I have tried absolutely everything for high cortisol, to no avail, but I think it's only high when I don't have enough t3 in my body...

PLEASE HELP...

P.S I EMAILED PAUL ROBINSON, HE SUGGESTED I TRY T3 ALONE BUT I SUFFER WITH A LOW T4 I CANT WIN!

Results show low Ft3

Likely to need 3 x 5mcg T3 per day (at roughly equal 8 hour intervals)

Which brand of T3 are you taking

Which brand of levothyroxine

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

What are your most recent vitamin results and ranges

Are you on strictly gluten free diet

What do you mean when you say you “suffer with a low T4”?

She means that a low T4 causes symptoms.
