Preparing for Blood Test on Combo Treatment

I currently take 100mcg Levo and 15mcg Lio at 8am and 25mcg Levo and 10mcg Lio at 3pm.

Obviously the day before the test I will take all the Levo for the day at 8am to be 24hrs out. But what would you do about splitting the T3?

I could do 10 x 10 x 5 at 8am, 3pm, 10.30pm

Does that make good sense? Or is there a better way to split the Lio up?

I will do that then. It seems the road of least hassle. Just wanted to run it past someone.

I take my T3 split into 2 doses and I adjust my timing so that the first dose is at 8.30-9am instead of about 5am, second dose around 10-11pm instead of 5pm. But if you prefer 3 doses that would be OK.

I don't mind taking a small third dose so I will do that I think. Seems I'm on the right track.

Thank you.

Hi FancyPants sorry to barge in here but was just wondering why you decided to split your Levo dose? Does it help with afternoon slump? Hope the blood test went okay 😊

I don't get an afternoon slump. I split it to see if I could get going more in the morning as Levo seems to dampen me. But also because I wondered if taking a small amount with the T3 might help me get more from the Levo.

Can't say I've noticed a difference. I need these bloods to see what's going on because I feel more hypo at the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to reply… I hope the blood results help make sense of it all. Fingers crossed 🤞 for you 😊

Well, they never really have to date, for years, but I live in hope. Adding T3 has at least given a different dimension to the results. It's tanked the T4 though and not really brought the T3 level up much either!
