My son was misdiagnosed and this has now resulted in Graves disease which the endo says is in remission. He has put on so much weight and despite intensive exercise, tennis, swimming, he cannot lose the weight. Any tips on how to help him, he is at slimming world too.

You didn't respond to any of the replies to your previous post about your son here:

Maybe you can give us more information so that we can help you.

My son was misdiagnosed

Misdiagnosed how? What was the problem?

and this has now resulted in Graves disease which the endo says is in remission.

How was Graves disease diagnosed? Did he have the TSI or TRAb antibodies tested, that's the only way Graves disease is confirmed.

He has put on so much weight and despite intensive exercise, tennis, swimming, he cannot lose the weight.

Has he been taking any thyroid medication? If so what?

It sounds very much like he is hypothyroid.

Please post his latest test results, with reference ranges, and we can comment further.
