My GP has agreed to refer me to an endocrinologist and I seem to remember once seeing that Dionne had a list of endocrinologists that were thyroid-savvy. I think you had to DM her - how do I do that please?
Many thanks.

Email her at tukadmin@thyroid.uk.org
or go to the ThyroidUK website and fill in the form - this page then select 'please contact us'

Thank you!
The contact form is for the list of private doctors and practioners. If you want NHS endos then email Dionne to request it.
I didn't know the lists were kept separately and had to be asked for separately. I always assumed they were all one list.
To be honest HB, I have no idea. I just know that it's always been said to ask Dionne for the list. Then when we had the new website there is a contact form but it does specifically say it's for private doctors and practioners. My old list, sent for a good few years ago, is entitled "NHS endocrinologists" but it has some doctors listed at Spire and Nuffield hospitals.
But Dionne’s list is not failsafe. I had a disappointing appointment with an endo on the list last week. They had not read the GP referral documents sent ages ago instead they focused some background documents I sent the previous week consisting of my 20 year old PCOS diagnosis, Medichecks blood tests and symptom list. Consequently my thyroid ultrasound (giving the impression of thyroiditis) was missed, as was my raised TOPabs and cholesterol. Not respectful or efficient.
Did you ask for feedback on this doctor from forum members before you booked appointment?
Have you contacted Dionne or Lyn Mynott to give your feedback on this endo?
Oh that is disappointing. I don’t have anywhere else to start though so I’ll give it a try.
