His last sentence is important about joining up the dots. Something many thyroid sufferers have to do for themselves when seeking wellness ! We all have a circulatory system too ! I think it so important to read the work of others - not directly thyroid but certainly connected ....

I’ve just forwarded this to my daughter who has Lupus. She had a dreadful reaction to her first shot of Astra-Zeneca vaccine and has been persuaded to have her second shot today... I just want her to have all the information she needs and as Malcolm Kendrick specifically mentions Lupus (amongst others) I felt it was relevant to let her know.

Yes, she decided after all that to go for it and has had no reaction to it at all!

I have heard it said from the doctors doing the injections, that if you have a bad reaction to the first you are unlikely to have it bad the second time. Your immune system has woken up and already has some memory of what's going on.
