Has anybody read any good books on Hashimoto and medicine

I would be grateful for the information.

So far I have read the following books:

Living Well with Hypothyroidism by Mary J. Shomon

Your Thyroid and how to keep it healthy by Dr Barry Durrant- Peatfield

Hashimoto’s Food Pharmacology by Izabella Wentz. (I haven’t read any other book by her)

For anybody who can read Italian I have also read this book La Dieta della Tiroide by Serena Missori/Alessando Gelli

At the moment I am reading them all again because I read them before I was diagnosed. I realised something was terribly wrong when I felt so lethargic and just couldn’t go for long walks anymore. I also had such a fuzzy head. I think I was partly burnt out from work too, which didn’t help.

Rather than published books, I suggest considering EndoText!

It does require a free, simple registration. (Most, possibly all, is also available without registration within PubMed, but it is much easier to access through EndoText's own website). And here it is:

endotext.org/

Some of it is very heavy going, but other parts are surprisingly easy.

Is it free or is there a monthly charge?
