Book that explains all the symptoms/related conditions of hashimotos /underactive thyroid?

This might seem a bit strange but I would like to gift a book to my doctor and endocrinologist.

I'm looking for an information source to widen their understanding of the details of how hashimotos is related to other conditions e.g. the susceptibility to Tendonitis and how minerals and vitamins are affected by the condition etc.

Got to stress I'm trying to avoid a self help book but appreciate they will probably all have varying degrees of self help details.

Would prefer it to have been written for the UK audience because reference ranges and treatment option differences might put them off reading the entire book. Any recommendations gratefully recieved, thank you

Currently my very favourite Hashi's writer is Izabella Wentz. She is in USA, but having read many other books she explains it from a patient's perspective as she suffers from it. She is a medical person - a qualified pharmacist, grew up in a medical family, and is absolutely passionate about detail. However her writing may be from the wrong angle for a GP and endo to read?

Try Paul Robinson's latest book - The Thyroid Patient's Manual - find it on Amazon.

Yes I can also recommend Paul Robinson's latest book as well.

It's a buggar when you have to provide the Endo's with information about the condition they are suppose to know about.

Send it anonymously.

Best Wishes
