My Ft4 when down but ft3 slightly increased. when I took levo and t3 can someone help me ?

Hello

My previous test results were

Tsh 2.01 (0.27-4.20) ft4 1.6.3 (12-22)

Ft3 4.22 (3.10-6.80)

I started on 12mcg of Levo and very small dose of T3 3mcg 8am

I slowly increased in2 weeks this as I had adrenals issues . I got to 3x dosing t3 at 8am

4pm 11 pm total of 9mcg

And Levo 50mcg

Retested2 months later

Results were

Tsh 2.44 ft4 13.7 ft3 4.56

Can anyone tell me why and what I can do? My endo just retested Thursday past they seem to just retest with not much helpful advice.

Results suggest you are under medicated

You have room to increase levothyroxine OR T3

Only increase one or the other at one time ...never both

Perhaps increase T3 to 3 x 5mcg (obviously increase slowly....)

Which brand of levothyroxine are you currently taking

Levo sodium

I have came off everything due to getting bloods redone.

Would it be best to Increase T3 first or Levo? What would the max dose be to then retest in 6 weeks time? Thank you

Up to you which you try and increase first

Either add 12.5mcg levothyroxine, increasing to 62.5mcg daily

Or

Try slowly increasing T3. Initially increasing first 8am dose to 5mcg. Then 2nd dose.

Retest thyroid levels 6-8 weeks after increase
