Has your doctor diagnosed you as having pernicious anaemia? You need a special test to confirm P.A. . Sometimes one autoimmune disease can affect another or the person may develop others.
I have several autoimmune conditions one is P.A. as well as hypothyroidism
.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a Specialist and this is an excerpt from the following link:
"Terry's nails don't need to be treated. They'll go away as the underlying condition associated with them improves. However, all of the associated conditions can be very serious. If you think you have Terry's nails, see your doctor so any underlying conditions can be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible.17 Dec 2019
Everyone doesn't always develop the same conditions .
Do you have a problem with your thyroid gland? As you already have an autoimmune condtion, your problem may recede as you attempt to heal it. Once we have Pernicious Anaemia it remains with us and we control it by B12 injections.
My doctor said nothing about PA but my iron and b12 both are low I've my reports posted and sir my neck is stiff and it feels as if it has widen a bit my father has thyroid so I think I'm more likely to have it too
