Medichecks Confirm Only 2 Days withdrawal of Bioton necessary Before a Test - Has Anyone Else Heard This?

As I had to ring Medichecks to query my TRAb test results I also asked about the above as that was the advice given to me on the form. The doctor confirmed that the latest research suggests that only 1 day is necessary and that they say 2 to be on the conservative side and that a week is definitely not needed.

I do believe that only two days is probably OK for most of us on modest doses of biotin.

But I'd like to be certain for those, such as Multiple Sclerosis sufferers, who take super-mega-gigantic doses.

Thanks Hellvella - really good to have that confirmed at it was an expensive test.

That’s what my GP told me too. If you are taking small amount of it (within your recommended daily allowance of a bit more), 2-3 days is fine. But apparently, some products have very high doses, such as the ones for hair and nails. Then he’d advise at least 7 days.
