T3 blood test results

Hi. Just looking to order more blood tests, going though previous 1, i have noticed prior to taking levo my t3 was >

5.24. (3.1.- 6.8) no levo

Taking levo

4.95 (. As above) August 2020

4.38. (as above). January 2021

4.61. ( As above) March 2021

Is it normal for t3 to decrease as t4 increases, reason I am asking is I have a lot of joint and muscle pain.

I take it these were free T3 levels?

So what you are saying is your FT3 levels have decreased since medicating Levothyroxine?

If you post complete test results (FT3, FT4 & TSH) it will present a better picture of thyroid function that members will be able to comment on.

My gp prescribed levo 25mcg alternative days started end of November 2019 until the end of March 2020 when I saw an endrorinlogist who agreed I could take it each day.

OCTOBER 2020

I had a phone call appointment with a different endrorinlogist who end up and very reluctantly agreed that I could increase to 50.

A letter was sent to my gp and myself, stating that She is adamant that she will not increase the dose higher, if it makes NO difference she will reduce it back to 25.

JANUARY 2021

At the end of December I had been unwell with a cold, so I unsure about theses results, as I had been taking cold medication.

As I mentioned due to issues of joint pain and muscles.

From reading posts i now about tsh at around 1, ft4 upper part of the range, I don't understand why ft4 increased but the ft3 decreased.
