Access to Work scheme

I've posted a more general question about tips for managing work, but posting again for experiences of the Access to Work scheme. I'm wondering if I could apply for help with taxi costs maybe. Has any body had any success with this scheme?

Rick, I would apply anyway and you may be lucky. If not you've not lost anything but, hopefully, will be able to 'trial' Access to Work.
