Can anyone tell me if liquid levo is the same as the tablets as in experiencing different symptoms depending what brand you take.

Ive been on Teva liquid for 10 days and not feeling good wondered if i should try a different brand of liquid.

Have been on liquid for at least 5 years . It is better absorbed than pills and so you may find you need a LITTLE less in the day than your original dose. I find that I can adjust my dose in very small amounts easily using the dropper and it's markings . I have to take say 75mcg equivalent on2 days and 100mcg on the third day . My Dr gave me permission to adjust like this and so work out what intake is best for my body .

I take it you can’t get liquid thyroxine in the U.K.

I have created, and try to maintain, a document containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and many in other countries.

The document includes several UK levothyroxine oral solution ("liquid" levothyroxine) products.

helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines.pdf

This document has information about the available thyroid hormones in the UK and, in less detail, around the world.

Thank you. I was on 62.5 mg tablet anything higher and i felt so ill im so sensitive to levo. I started on the 75 liquid but felt so tired really struggling to get out of bed as soon as i go higher with dose i get water retention in my thighs and aches. I dropped it down to 62.5 still felt terrible now the last two days i put it up to 70. If liquid is absorbed more should i be having less then 62.5mg i had in tablet form. Ive never been able to take a high doze then 62.5mg tablet. My T4 is in the 20's and my T3 is 4 something. Im sure i need some T3 its no good taking more T4 as im not converting well into T3 so surely i need T3 and maybe less T4.

I need my tsh to go down too its gone up to 5.1 i need it suppressed because of the cancer im always under 2 normally but ever since i couldnt take Accord after it was taken over by Accord from Actavis last year i have had no end of problems.

What brand of liquid are you taking. Are all the brands the same?

Or is it like the tablets just finding one that agrees with you. Teva tablet form doesnt have a very good name just wondering if Teva liquid is the same.
