Just wanted to say thank you all for all your support last night - with the aid of chamomile tea and managing to sleep 5 hours last night felt so much better this morning and so took the plunge and had my jab at 5.00 pm today. I did tell the nurse that I had been going overactive and she then said that would explain my red eyes - never knew I had TEDS!

Great news Delgor; always remember that you are stronger than you think😊.
I’m a real advocate of herbal teas, juicing & aromatherapy to help calm my nerves. I also benefit from taking magnesium supplements early evening & try to practise mindfulness & write positive affirmations. On ‘bad’ TED days I also wear sunglasses to hide my eyes and wear bright lipstick to cheer me up .......It all helps reduce my anxiety levels!
Sorry for delay in replying - just had to watch Line of Duty! Quite agree that we all have an inner strength that perhaps we didn't know about but having said that, I think this is an amazing site and the kind support given by everyone is truly wonderful when we are most in need! Take care.
So pleased you felt well enough to go, and wishing you more sleep tonight.😊
