Double dosed by mistake!

Hallo all

Just a quick question. Confused myself with taking my tablet yesterday (Saturday morning). Couldn’t remember taking it at 5 - was convinced I’d only drunk water. So took my tablet at 9am. Soon after realised that I HAD taken my tablet (confirmed by racing heart going to bed last night). My question is - I had planned to do my Medichecks test on Tuesday morning. Should I wait or will the extra dose be out of my system by then?

So you took Saturday and Sunday's dose on Saturday morning. Hopefully you didn't take any this morning.

If you go ahead with your test on Tuesday you would take your last dose of Levo on Monday morning, 24 hours before the time of your Tuesday test. Then everything will be fine.

It might help to put your dose in a pot on your bedside table. I use these

Thank you SeasideSusie! Just bought those pots now. I usually keep a few tablets in a pill cutter but am going to have to put one out every night from now on as I don’t trust myself not to forget/get confused. I stupidly took my dose this morning (realised later on that this was a mistake). Should I now wait until Wednesday for a more accurate reading do you think? I can skip tomorrow (Monday) and Tuesday to help things settle?

So you've taken

Saturday 2 x doses

Sunday 1 x dose

I would leave off tomorrow's dose and you will be back on track.

Do test on Wednesday but don't skip Tuesday's dose, you need that.

Take Tuesday dose but change time, 5am will be too early, take it 24 hours before you do your test on Wednesday, so if you're doing your test at 9am then take your Tuesday dose at 9am.

Wednesday do your test then take Wednesday dose straight after.
