My NDT isn’t working

Hi just looking for any information regarding my medication as I’m currently taking between 150 and 200 grain of NP thyroid and I’m feeling exhausted like when I was first diagnosed 23 years ago! I was on Nature NDT until they had issues and stopped producing it. I paid a lot of money to get this NP thyroid from USA but honestly feel like it’s not working. Please can anyone let me know if they have heard anything about this product having issues

There was a recall of NP thyroid a couple of years ago, it's mentioned on the STTM site here (scroll down a bit):

I wish I had known as they charged me a fortune for them and I’ve slowly got more tired and gained weight even my hair had gone haywire was maybe going to try thyroid glandular from new Zealand as Thyroxine doesn’t agree with me

I had the same problem a couple of years ago and became pretty ill on NP. I moved to Thyroid-S and slowly recovered. You may have to search high and low for this, but it is slowly coming back on the market (at double the previous price!) but worth it. Good luck with regaining your health, hug.

How are you getting on now? I’m in exactly the same position you are! I was on NatureThyroid with no problems, I’ve spent a fortune on NP and having loads of symptoms reoccur 😢

I’m now in levothyroxine and think I’ve had weight gain ! Wish I could get NP as hate being on this hopeless drug
