I just received call from Acella about NP Thyroid

I just received a call from Steve at Acella about my email to them yesterday pertaining to the problem with NP Thyroid that my husband has had. Of course I didn't get any answers to what the problem is...but Steve asked MANY questions trying to isolate when the problem began and he listened and was typing as I told him issues my husband has had with his NP over the last few months. I asked him if they had any idea about what the problem could be and he said the only thing they have changed is the raw porcine supplier and this is where they are looking at the present. I asked him if he'd like to hear from others who are having issues with NP and he said absolutely!...Please, for those who are having problems with NP thyroid...Go to their website ( this is what I did yesterday) because you need to email your information so "Steve" can contact you. I have to imagine the more emails they get, the better.

Had heard on stopthethyroidmadness website that there had been problems with NP which worried me as Im on it. So far I seem to have had the old composition judging by what was said by others on there. So been fine. Dreading every new script.....

It is amazing how sensitive we can be when a small change is made in any thyroid hormone replacements. I hope they are able to resolve it and am sure they'd want to very quickly as they wont want to lose customers.

Steve really sounded like they want to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve it.

I don't want to disappoint you. But it's all lip service . They know that the problem exists I have yet to hear what are they going to do about it? So far no recalls as of now .

I seem to remember the source for the raw porcine was what caused RLC (makers of Naturethroid) to have to take their NDT off the market a year or two ago. Lots of people say that since Naturethroid came back on the market it no longer works the same.

I really dont know. All I do know is that one product after another folds in its efficacy........what on earth is going on?!!!!!
