Blood results are in and they’re not too shabby... except vitamin D.
I already supplement this with better you spray most days but it’s still a rubbish result. 🤷🏼♀️
I also have a stomach ulcer and had kidney stones in the last year so wondering if it could potentially be a parathyroid issues?
Also, what else should I work on improving?
I’m Gluten free and currently on 150 of levo
Bloods done at 6am on an empty stomach > 24h after
last dose.
My last tsh results at my gp came back a few weeks ago as 0.67 so doubt I will get an increase in dose but if I can get vitamin d up then it might help.
Thanks in advance

How much Vit D are you taking and which one? With your current level you should be taking 4,000iu D3 daily along with 90-100mcg Vit k2-mk7. Are you using the red DLux spray, if so even though it says 3,000iu D3 + 75mcg K2 you have to take 3 sprays for that amount (1,000iu + 25mcg K2 per single spray), so I suggest you increase it to 4 sprays maybe even 5.
B12 of 319pmol/L = 432pg/ml and according to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:
"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".
"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."
So I'd be looking at improving your B12 level.
Some experts say that the optimal ferritin level for thyroid function is between 90-110 ng/ml so you might want to look at that as well. You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, also liver pate, black pudding, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet
Better you spray I have both the red and green ones. I tend to take a spray of both so that I’m taking a full dose of d3 in one spray and a 1/3 of a dose of d3 and k
Does that make sense?
Normally I take my levo at around 5am, I did the test at 6 am so would have been 25 hours
Will take my b12 spray more regularly and look into options for ferritin. Thanks
That’s interesting. I’ve been using the Better You spray for a year and have just found out my Vitamin D is inadequate...might be worth switching brands?
