Suggest you order your own FULL thyroid and vitamin testing direct
stopthethyroidmadness.com/r...
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least annually
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
If/when also on T3, or NDT make sure to take last third or quarter of daily dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
Is this how you do your tests?
Hi, I asked to my doctor, and she said that because I did the vitamin D test 3 months ago I need to give it more time to repeat the test! So probably only THS tomorrow!
Just testing TSH is completely inadequate
You need TSH, Ft4 and Ft3
Have you had thyroid antibodies tested

Vitamin D twice year
Since I joined this forum, I take the blood work fasting and I'm not taking Thyroid meds.I can' t wait to feel normal again!
This strong butterfly on the upper stomach is making me so uncomfortable!
Thank you so much Slow Dragon!
Could be adrenaline causing the butterflies. Does it happen all the time ? ...
I have no idea if it could be adrenaline, it started 7/ 10 day's ago, and I thought it could be caffeine effect, so I monitored, but even drinking decaff coffee it didn't improved. I checked my blood pressure last night, and it was good 119/72, but my heart beat was 58, very low. This morning after I woke up was 56, so I'm thinking that my thyroid medication needs to be adjusted. I'm Hypo, and Hashi. I'm taking 125 mcg Synthroid and 5000 IU vitamin D, 200 mg Magnesium following doctor suggestion.
I have something that feels more like a light pins and needles rather than butterflies in my stomach then the back of my neck becomes hot. I thought it was something food related and, like you, suspected caffeine. It doesn't seem to be but I've not figured out the cause.
