Can anyone point me in the direction of some info that explains which vits/minerals do and don't go with each other please? The stuff I've looked at this morning is a bit difficult to follow and many websites contradict others. Thanks.

I too would love to know! Please someone out there who knows about this stuff... 💚
Not knowing which articles you've already seen, these are some which I've come across:
B12 and Vit C - leave 2 hours between these, Vit C can keep your body from using B12:
webmd.com/vitamins-and-supp...
Iron/Vit C/Calcium - take iron with Vit C to aid absorption. Don't take calcium or calcium rich foods at the same time as iron:
webmd.com/vitamins-and-supp...
Calcium/Zinc/Magnesium - don't take these at the same time:
webmd.com/vitamins-and-supp...
Zinc/Copper - zinc affects copper absorption:
thehealthy.com/healthcare/d...
Fat soluble vitamins - A, D, E, K - taken together they compete for fat for absorption, best taken away from each other:
consumerlab.com/answers/whi...
I'm sure there is lots more but that's all I have at the moment.
Thank you and to questioner - been meaning to find this out for soooooooo long - something always gets in the way.
Thanks for that Susie. I was a little concerned about the Zinc/Copper thing as some sources say you shouldn't take them together yet you can buy Zinc/Copper combo supplements!! However I have just read this:
lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/min...
and it seems you are OK unless you're taking large amounts over a long period, so that'll do for me.
Have you tested them? I've read that zinc should be half way through range and zinc and copper should be balanced, also that we Hypos often have one high and the other low.
I've always known about taking certain supplements together but I've never thought about not taking certain supplements at the same time. I guess this means I shouldn't really take a multi vit. I guess the issue who has time in the day to take thyroid meds and to make sure they are taking the vitamin and mineral they need at different times of the day. I've also heard we should only take supplements we really need. Thanks for the info
I’ve been thinking for a while that a great way to present this info would be like the mileage charts we used to use before Google maps. If anyone on here has the inclination ....
That’s a shame. I thought that was the answer!
Does the link below fit the bill as a single source for all?
