Hashimoto and covid muscle/ joint aches

Hello lovely community. A while ago I was asking you all about your suggestions for muscle aches. Well it turns out that my issues have been as a result of covid which left a lingering trail much like when we are not correctly dosed with thyroid meds. Having covid definitely raised my thyroid antibodies which id never had before and they are still raised now ( although reduces by around third.) I had no idea how much or how long having such a flare up would affect me! And just when I thought I’d finally got on top of my thyroid! :(

Anyway I asked for your suggestions as to what gels and creams would be best to use for pain relief and was bombarded with a whole range of suggestions ( thank you so much.) I ended up using magnesium oil which helped but too greasy and stained bedding, a bio freeze spray which I think is probably better for sprains etc, and a brand called Dermactiva which was just brilliant. They have a gel and a cream which worked on different things for me. The cold gel has been great on my calves which sometimes feel like rocks, as well as my elbow which is sometimes agonising when I wake up. The cream my husband and I use on our lower backs and knees. He doesn’t have Hashis/ thyroid issues just a bad back from old age! Haha.

I am now almost pain free naturally and definitely waking up less stiff as well. Just wanted to share this with you in case it helps someone because everyone here has been so brilliant with me and taken time to advice me when I’ve had questions. I really can’t wait until this covid nonsense is over and hope you have all been able to stay healthy of body and mind through these horrible Times xxx
