Is levothyroxine compatible with Forceval? The Forceval leaflet says "Take care if suffering from thyroid problems". Can anyone expand on that. Thanks

Is this prescribed? If so, what for specifically?
It's a multivitamin/mineral.
Have any vitamins or minerals been tested?
It contains calcium, iron, iodine, zinc and copper. All these should be tested before supplementing.
Iodine solution used to be used to treat hypERthyrodism before the current radioactive iodine treatment so it can make hypOthyroidism worse.
Thanks for replying, yes I was prescribed them a long time ago and they've stayed on my repeats ever since. I was never given a blood test before taking them and they've never been mentioned on subsequent medication reviews. I think I get shoddy service from my GP sometimes, a few years ago I went to him suffering from bouts of dizziness and he bunged some tablets at me that made me worse. I eventually got to see an ENT doctor who diagnosed an inner ear problem and after showing me the Epley manoeuvre it cleared up immediately! I haven't taken the Forceval for a couple of months, so you've made my mind up, I won't be going back to them. GreyGoose suggested taking Vitamin D, magnesium and Vitamin B12 (after she saw my test results) which seems to be working out so I'll stick to that.
