Hi, I am just the very worst at asking for help. I was so impressed when I found your website. I know you are doing so much to help so many. I asked this forum for help a month ago. I guess I really just don't know how to ask for help. I know if I could just get my bearings that I could get some good meat from your discussions. I don't know where to start. I posted my test results and got no response. Can you help me understand how to ask for help? Is there a guideline to how to begin moving this mountain?

Here’s your previous post with posts of useful info

Sorry we didn’t reply back after you added ranges
As you can see this is an extremely busy forum
Just going to reply myself now on the original post
Hi justwundering, sorry your post was missed . it's a very busy forum .
I suspect your test information was a bit difficult to digest all at once , most of us have difficulty with masses of text and numbers unless presented in an easy to read format ... so i've tidied it up a bit for you . hopefully you will now get some more responses xx

Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s around 2013 and used Nature-Throid.
until a papillary thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2019.
I had a complete thyroidectomy but no chemo.
My symptoms have improved somewhat since the surgery but overall, my symptoms are worse off now as compared to before surgery. I continue to register thyroglobulin levels and have 2 lymph nodes that are still enlarged. I don’t know how long I can hang onto my job. I basically come home and go to bed. I struggle with big crashes and little crashes and a host of crazy symptoms that seem to follow the path of my fatigue. My symptoms are basically flu-like. I believe that I am not processing T4 into T3. Things have gotten a bit better since I started taking marijuana to help me sleep and started taking my T4 at 3:00 am.
The tests were all first thing in the morning before any food.
I was not taking any supplements when i tested the vitamins.
30 (ish) hours after my last dose of T4 ~ dose 134mcg.

I am now taking supplements though I am not good at taking supplements.
I take all supplements at least 4 hours away from the Levo.
I am now (trying) to take daily:
a. D – liquid, oil based 1,000 – 2,000 IUs
b. C – 500 mg
c. B12 – 1000 mcg
d. Lysine – 1000 mg
e. Iron – Liquid form, ¼ tsp = 22 mg. I take one drop daily. Is that like 2 mg?
f. Selenium – 200 mcg
g. Levothyroxine – 134 MCG
h. Marijuana – 30 mg THC
I am taking weekly some small amount of folate. Sorry, I did not save the bottle.

It might help if you pick out a main symptom or issue that is causing you concern and put that as your heading. Something like: “Help, my hair is falling out” or “is my Levo dose too high or too low?”
You can then add other concerns in the main body of text, along with test results and meds/supplements.
I’m really lazy and like to see instantly what the post is asking!

Regarding your B12... Your result isn't bad but could be better.
See this link : perniciousanemia.org/b12/le...
When choosing a supplement to raise B12 the best one for most people is methylcobalamin, available from Amazon, Ebay, and other supplement websites.

.
Regarding your folate... We usually suggest having a level of at least double figures. If you ever have a folate test with an upper limit an optimal result would be upper half of the range.
A couple of links to read if you choose to supplement folate:
takecareof.com/articles/ben...
chriskresser.com/folate-vs-...
When choosing a supplement to raise folate the best one for most people is methylfolate or metafolin, available from Amazon, Ebay, and other supplement websites.

It is a good idea to take a good quality B Complex so that you keep the levels of the various B vitamins at roughly the same level. It isn't a good idea to have highly deficient levels of some B vitamins and very high levels of some others.
The B Complex often suggested on here is Thorne Research Basic B.
thorne.com/products/dp/basi...
If a B Complex doesn't keep your results where you want them, then you may need to supplement a separate B12 and/or folate along with the B Complex.
.
Note... If you ever decide to supplement B12 and folate separately it is a
good idea to supplement B12 for a week before adding in a folate supplement.

Vitamin D - Optimal for Vitamin D is 40 - 60 ng/mL, so yours is a tiny bit low.
.
Ferritin (iron stores) - Your level is fine.
A couple of things to note...
Ferritin rises when someone has inflammation or infection. Inflammation and infection are measured with CRP and/or ESR.

Vitamin D - Try taking 4000 iU Vitamin D for a while. When you have got your level up to optimal reduce to 2000 iU. Check to see if the lower level will maintain yours at optimal - if not raise levels again and keep taking it.
.
Vitamin C - This is fine. You could have more if you got constipated for any reason. It also helps absorption of iron from the diet and from supplements.
.
Vitamin B12 and Folate - Already commented on B12 and folate.
.
Lysine - I know nothing about this.
.
Iron - It is a good idea to have a full iron panel done. Iron is complicated. You can have low serum iron and high ferritin, plus every other combination of low and high. Different combinations tell you different things about your health.
A full iron panel consists of :
Serum Iron, Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC), Transferrin Saturation Percentage, Ferritin, CRP.

Selenium - 200mcg is a high dose. It works fine for some people but if it causes you problems then 100mcg might be better.

The only things I can say about your Full/Complete Blood Count is :
For further info :
labtestsonline.org.uk/tests...
Your hemoglobin is well in range indicating that you aren't anaemic.
MCV (Mean Cell Volume) shows the average size of your red blood cells. If MCV is below range or low in range it indicates that you are probably short of iron and/or ferritin. If MCV is above range or high in range it indicates that you are low in vitamin B12 and/or folate. If MCV is well in range it won't tell you anything conclusive about iron/ferritin/B12/folate.
The condition of having high platelets is called Thrombocytosis.
