Connection between thyroidism and hemochromotosis ?

Hi All . Does anyone have hemochromotosis ( high iron absorbtion) I have had thyroidism disease for 25 years and recently Jan 21 been told have this vision and both are related ... confused and cannot get help or information . Please advise if you know, Thank you Gracie

I had v high ferritin, way over range, and became a blood donor. One or two donations a year has kept my levels within range. As scrumbler says, bleeding is the way to bring levels down. No treatment apart from that as far as I know.
