I have just posted about Patients Know Best on another thread. This system gives patients access to all kinds of medical information from hospitals, GP and others if your healthcare provider has a contract with them. The availability is spreading so it may be worth doing a search via there website to see if your provider is connected.
The website is interesting if you are interested in having access to your medical information. Access to appointment booking screens, adding your own information to your record etc I think this is the future- if we don’t know it’s available we can’t create the demand. Have a read and check if your provider has it available.

My healthcare provider uses this system and its absolute rubbish. The website will send you an email when someone accesses your record but you dont know who. Appointment letters are sent via it and copies of letters sent to your Gp are posted on there. However any medical notes are not placed on there and it's just for you to record your diagnosed problems, medications etc. No dr will use it, so I think it's just of maintaining patient dr contact.Heather
Thank you for getting in touch, as with all systems whether it be patient portals, Apps and primary care systems the technology is only as good as the organisational culture behind it. There remains opposition to giving patients full access medical records and all the other interactive services technology can easily provide. It may be in time that your health provider will have the confidence and trust to use PKB to its full extent that some organisations do.
I won't be using it because I can just log into Patient Access. Too many Apps on my phone drain my battery as well. I removed the NHS App because of this btw.
