Nature-Throid and WP Thyroid Recall for Subpotency!

Who knew? Didn't the Essex Pharmacy that sold me 100 grains of WP Thyroid in August, two weeks before this recall, have any obligation to pass the information to his customers before they became unwell. My T4 recently tested 9! restartmed.com/wp-thyroid-0...

So I've discovered. I must have missed it in my weekly digest. being the cretin that I am.

My point was, I thought that the pharmacy would have some obligation (or just the common decency) to advise those customers who they had just supplied with inferior recalled product.

abirose311, This is an interesting question. If the medicine concerned was a UK brand, then I agree, the pharmacy would surely have an obligation to inform customers. However, as this is an imported non licensed medicine, I wonder whether the UK pharmacy would necessarily have been informed of the recall. Do you know for sure that they were informed at the time?

I learned they were recalled when the pharmacist told me last week that he couldn't supply them. I called again Monday and he was very hesitant to answer, then said he thought it might have been in October. So I learned the date from an online search.
