Good morning everyone. Could you recommend a good B vitamin that contains folate. I have Hashimotos so it needs to be gluten/dairy/soy free etc. Im in Ireland so they don't always deliver here. Thank you in advance.

Two very good ones often recommended here are Thorne Basic B and Igennus Super B. Both contain the bioavailable forms of ingredients, including 400mcg methylfolate at their recommended serving suggestions ( 1 x Thorne capsule or 2 x Igennus). Some people use Jarrow Formulas B Right but a handful of members have had an adverse reaction to that particular one, I've not seen anyone say they've had a reaction to either Thorne or Igennus.
Hi Seasidesusie. Should you take B vitamins indefinitely with Hashimotos?

I can't answer that specifically as I don't have Hashimoto's.
However, B Complex is one of the supplements recommended for Hypos and it also helps support adrenals. I have been taking it for a few years. My B12 is fine so I'm not taking it for that, but I need to take it regularly to maintain my folate level which tends to be on the low side without it. I always do a full vitamin/thyroid panel once a year to check all levels.
