Hi All

Ive just joined the group and was wondering if anyone out there is taking Quercetin and have had any results good or bad with interaction with thyroxine...

I have been recommended it post Covid infection for its anti-inflammatory effects and its effects on histamine... I have been getting terrible allergy responses recently and am not getting on with traditional antihistamines...

Would appreciate your thoughts

If you type 'quercetin and thyroid' into google several studies come up which state that it can inhibit thyroid function. You would need to look at the summaries and decide for yourself.

Sorry that's as much as I know, others may pop in and help further.

Take care

I’m considering a small dose of 250mg per day to see how I feel then up to suggested dose of 500mg, this particular brand has Vit C added too...
