Notifications? (Off topic)

Anyone else noticing that they are not being notified when there is a response to any of their posts or comments? Or has my iPad updated itself and caused it to disappear?

Yes it was happening yesterday and there is a thread about it. I thought it had been fixed now.

Thank you Bantam - you are never going to believe this but I was alerted to your response by a little number next to the notifications button. Weird/ spooky or what. Thanks for letting me know though. 😊

I get the odd random notification but most are not coming through 🤷‍♀️ It's happening on other forums as well so an HU problem across the board.

Someone mentioned this the other day, some people weren't getting notifications, some were. It went back to normal quite quickly. The forum has blips from time to time, just ride it out, it will get sorted eventually. Or if you prefer to report the problem to HealthUnlocked, use this contact form:

Thanks SSS, I knew there was a link to HU somewhere but just couldn’t find where it was. I figured someone on here would know.

It’s very weird but I got a number beside the bell with your response. Weird after not working for days.

I've just had the bell tell me there were two notifications, and before I could do anything the yellow circle with the number disappeared right in front of my eyes! When I clicked on the bell there they were - two new notifications! Sometimes I just don't think it's worth the effort of trying to understand what happens with the forum 🙂

I agree I give up. I got two yellow circles and there have been five responses / comments. Having used HU for years and like you seen all sorts of happenings I’m sure it will right itself. It just means I need to keep checking that I’m not ignoring anyone I ought to be replying to.
