Low T3 and carpel tunnel syndrome

Has anyone experience carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of low FT3? I have had three episodes over ten years and each time, my FT3 was low. I am left handed so each time it has been in my left wrist and arm.The pain was so intense that it resulted in ER visits, mri's and was resolved each time after seeing specialists by a shot of cortisone into my wrist and an increase in my T3 medication. I am wondering if this is unique to me or observed by others?

FT3 is better towards the top of the range for most ! How is your B12 level ? Both can be involved with CTS ...

Yes, l agree re T-3 and optimizing dose and my B-12 is fine.

I am just curious if anyone else experienced carpal tunnel syndrome and did it correlate with a low FT3 lab result.

You can scroll down and down where you will find 10 more posts similar to yours - under the heading Related Posts. Having been a member here since 2011 I have read many posts about CTS and low thyroid. It is low T3 that is the cause of many symptoms it seems . .
