These are my blood tests results. I was diagnosed as post patrum thyroiditis in October 19. Put on levo 50 mcg Feb 20.
The last two weeks only I've been taken increased b12 and Feroglobin vitams.
I've also been on oral levo but since the last tests results I've been experiencing hyper symptoms so the last 4/6 weeks I've actually taken 40mcg instead.

Tsh 1.6 range 0.3
T4 18.5 range 7.9-16 over
T3 5.4 range 3.8-6
Can anyone explain what's happening now?? Less dosage but higher T4, slight drop on t3 and tsh from previous blood test. I've just remembered that I took my levo before my blood test on recent blood tests. Would that make a huge difference to my blood tests results?

Taking your levo too close to the blood draw would affect the FT4, nothing else. Was that the test in October? If so, you have a false high FT4, there.
Hiya. Yes it's was the only test that I took the levo that morning. The others I did not take it for 24hrs and until I had my blood test done. So the tsh and t3 would be a true reflection just the T4?
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin levels
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins

I am taking vitams above and will be taking vitamin D ect soon. The one i am taking have biotin and thought to wait until I've done my blood tests as apparently you must stop it 1 week before bloods. My consultant tends to do my t3 and really can't afford to do blood tests privatly.
I've been told by two endos I have post patrum thyroiditis and hopefully it will go away within 18 months. I am now 12 month ppt. But the 3rd endo said it permanent hypo. Seeing 4th endo as how can 2 say 1 thing and another different. By my blood tests are all over the place as well. All have been taken 24hrs before levo apart from my last one.
