A month ago and all optimal. Yes I split dose but can't really tell any difference so might go back to once daily in the morning. What would you try to lower T3 or t4?
Great to hear your recovering, sad to hear to have side effects, It sounds like the inflammation Has increased and possible autoimmune reaction, if your resting heart rate is higher it’s Almost definitely the dose being on the high side, but it’s also imperative you get your B12 and D tested, anything that supports your muscle and nervous system that is depleted or low can trigger unusual heart rhythms. But to be on the safe side also get a check over from cardiology just to make sure the inflammation is making mischief.
If it’s any comfort, ny heart used to accelerate for very little activity, and take a long time to come back to a resting heart rate and it seemed to improve once I had treatment for a diagnosis of pernicious anemia x
Hi Clara, I am very interested in this because I am experiencing similar symptoms. I contracted (suspected) Covid in March. I have been fatigued since (even more than usual), then in August I started taking T3.
The T3 made me feel better in some ways (no brain fog for example, yay) but I feel like it also highlighted some consequences of long Covid that I was overlooking before. One was post exertional malaise (I wasn't doing much before so there was no post exertion!) and another one I am wondering about is my heart rate. It is now much higher when I stand up compared to sitting down, which is a symptom a lot of people with long Covid have. I am unsure on whether I should lower my T3, I was doing so well on it but my heart concerns me.
