Following my post from last night looking to buy liothyronine on a private prescription.
Ive called a number of pharmacies so far and quotes from the ones who can get 10mcg , 56 tablets are anything between £444 -£1000.
I knew it was going to be expensive but not this theres no way I can do that.
Im wondering if getting my prescription changed to 20mcg and dividing it might be cheaper, if so can you still get it from Germany . If not can anyone recommend a UK pharmacy for a better price.
Each of the pharmacies said” oh you dont want that, far too expensive why dont you just get it on the nhs “!!!
Id really appreciate and help, thanks

You just might do better if it could be changed to 5 ( or 12.5) micrograms - and ask pharmacies to get in touch with Ace Pharma in the Netherlands. A few members here get it.
Works out less expensive than UK products.
Otherwise, definitely cheaper to buy from Germany - for as long as the German pharmacies are willing to recognise UK prescriptions.
