Do I have a conversion problem?

Please would someone have a look at my medichecks results and see if I have a conversion issue? I’m on 100mcg of levothyroxine and am steadily gaining weight (30lbs in the last 12 months). I’ve worked out that I’m 51% through the T3 range and 86% through T4, but not sure if they should be similar?

I’m considering NDT as really not feeling myself.

When you posted 7 months ago your Ferritin was low - this can affect your conversion. Are you still supplementing ?

Yes, I take 210mg ferrous fumerate a day as well as 4 x desiccated liver capsules.

Have you had a recent re-test for Ferritin ? Do you take VitC to aid iron absorption ? Full Iron Profile test ?

Last blood tests were in Feb (apart from the medichecks). Yes, I either take a vitamin C tablet with the ferrous fumerate or a glass of orange juice if I'm out of tablets.

So how was your Ferritin last time ? Regular testing important as too much can be as bad as too little !

Serum Ferritin 43.5 ng/ml (20 - 130)

Read here often that Ferritin is good around 70++ , so you have a way to go .... 🌻

This conversion rate is normal. That's not to say you might benefit from some T3.
