Can see from previous post you are on levothyroxine

How much levothyroxine are you currently prescribed?

Do you always get same brand of levothyroxine

Results show you are very under medicated and need 25mcg dose increase in levothyroxine

See GP

Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after each dose increase

Extremely important to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

When were these last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Your high thyroid antibodies confirms autoimmune thyroid disease

Have you had coeliac blood test done?

If not ask GP to test too

The aim of levothyroxine is to increase dose upwards until Ft4 is in top third of range and Ft3 at least half way through range (regardless of where TSH is) ...important to have optimal vitamin levels too as this helps reduce symptoms and improve how levothyroxine works

I was on 150mcg levo, now endo recommends 175mcg - I am 18 weeks pregnant and all over body hair loss started April 2019

Usually get the same brand (North Star by TEVA) and keeping an eye on this

May 2020 - vitamin D 99, folate 11.66, ferritin 28.5 (rechecking full iron panel) and B12 > 150

I am just taking folic acid and vit D since start pregnancy

coeliac negative

Wondering if a T3 combined with T4 maybe better ?

They are extremely reluctant to prescribe T3 generally...but especially during pregnancy

Your low Ft4 shows you have room for dose increase in levothyroxine

Important not to have too much folate or B12 as well as not too little. These are Goldilocks vitamins during pregnancy

Hi there thank you for the information. I didn't see any link regarding Goldilocks vitamins. Please send the link when you can

Google why folate and B12 don’t want to be too high or too low
