Hashimoto’s on Synthroid Irritable and Sweating more

I have Hashimoto’s and as i am now 68 i find i am more irritable and sweating mire i am on Synthroid has anyone else experienced this? Thought about trying Tirosint but read scary things about It. Thank you

I would get blood tests to see if your dose is still the right one for you.

Thank you and yes all my bloodwork comes back fine so wonder if as you age maybe Synthroid does not work as well for me.

It's not fine you're after, it's optimal. Why not post your results and ranges and let us have a look.

Thank you cant get to results yet but wondered if you can get irritable and sweat more as i age from Hashimoto’s or Synthroid. Will post results later.

Well, you possibly would if your need for Synthroid became greater, or you stopped absorbing it as well, or if your conversion got worse. But, the only way to tell those things is to look at the blood work.

But you said that all your blood work comes back 'fine', so I suppose that's your doctor's opinion, then? Wnd, frankly, would he really know?
