I have recently come off the pill (about 4 months ago) and have been experiencing terrible cystic acne and hair loss.
I also have hypothyroidism and it's been 2 years of readjusting my dose and never getting it right.
I always have had swollen lymph nodes which have persisted for years and they have been painful recently.
I have been supplementing with magnesium for the past 3/4 months and it has made a major difference in my life. Before that I was always bloated.
I am wondering if anybody out there has advice on what kinds of supplements I can implement into my diet. I have started eating liver once a week as of last week for vitamin A and ferritin.
Thanks

It's worth checking out a lady called Dr Jolene Brighten, she has done a few interviews on the subject.
I've heard quite a few health gurus say that one of the best things you can do is take a good pre-natal vitamin. Even if you aren't trying to have a baby, the nutrients the pill depletes are also the ones in most pre-natal vitamins.
Thanks! That’s actually why I posted this. I found her through Instagram and wanted to see if other people had similar opinions/experiences. I’ll do some research on pre-natal vitamins too
I thought she had such great information - I listened to interviews with her on (I think) the "Nourishing women" podcast and "well-fed women". Worth a listen to hear it all in a condensed format
I stopped the pill 11 years ago, but I still seem to have some symptoms from it. I really wish I'd heard about it all a lot sooner, but I'm glad it's being recognised now.
I was on the pill until my forties and did not get any hair loss or spots until I had the mirena coil inserted which was recommended for my heavy bleeding. It was after I had the coil removed that I started to get symptoms of thyroid disease. Some women in the US think there is a connection between the mirena and thyroid disease and I did join a few support groups there. All I know is once I had the coil I started to have spots and hair loss and then after it was removed all my problems started.
