Bradford hypothyroid Support Group

Hi everyone. I live in Bradford West Yorkshire. I have been suffering.from hypothyroidism for over 15 years. I would like to form a local support group. I dont have a clue how to start but if anyone has felt as isolated a I have with this illness I hope that having someone local to talk to or provide help when dealing with a G.P might help. Could people in the area get back to me to show there is some interest.

ThyroidUK has local support groups, it would be worth contacting them to see if there is one in your area and, if not, see how you could go about starting one. See:

If you go to the main site, Thyroiduk.org. they have several 'support groups' run by people who've got dysfunctional thyroid glands and may be able to assist you.

Hi seaker59 I have has a look at the support group network and there isn't anything in West Yorks. I'd be happy to join something in this area (remotely of course)
