Has anyone on Felodipine had large fluid filled blisters on their arms. Been on a low dose 2.5mg for 4 weeks and feel ok with it . Thanks

You may have an allergy to something in your dose. I think you should see your GP even though you feel o.k. This is from the following link:

3. Who can and can't take felodipine

Adults aged 18 and over can take felodipine.

Felodipine isn't suitable for some people.

To make sure felodipine is safe for you, tell your doctor if you:

have had an allergic reaction to felodipine or any other medicine in the past

are trying to get pregnant, are already pregnant or if you are breastfeeding

have heart failure or heart disease or you've recently had a heart attack

have new chest pain or chest pain that lasts longer or is more severe than usual

have liver problems

NHS website says ....

Call 999 or go to A & E

nhs.uk/medicines/felodipine/

Call 999 or go to A&E if:

you get a skin rash that may include itchy, red, swollen, blistered or peeling skin

you're wheezing

you get tightness in the chest or throat

you have trouble breathing or talking

your mouth, face, lips, tongue or throat start swelling

You could be having a serious allergic reaction and may need immediate treatment in hospital

This is allergy. Please see your doctor ASAP. I don’t mean to alarm you but allergy reactions should be reported quickly. Unless you’ve been bitten by giant mosquitoes, it does look like the same type of allergy reaction my son had some years ago. His was from fish.

I have been on 2.5of Felodipine for over a year now with no apparant side effects. I agree with other members you should report to GP asap as that is an allergic reaction and is not right. Good luck.

Hopefully you have seen a doctor or at least sent photo off to doctors surgery to get opinion. May be ask about propranilol instead , I really liked propranolol when I was taking it ,it helped calm that anxious jittery feeling as well as keeping heart rate stable.
